About the Beneficiaries
A is for Aboriginal is a pet project of the founder of KidzBiz.com. Joseph is writing a series of Aboriginal First Readers for early childhood education programs. The content is based on the rich cultural and artistic traditons of Aboriginal people and once completed there will be a free distribution to urban and rural ECD programs. Donated funds will go to fund a free distribution.
Bee Friendly is a local (North Vancouver) initiative to help save our bees. Rick Ericson, a local apiarist, has developed a series of community programs, to both educate and entertain children and adults alike about how we can live with bees and why they are so important for our community and planetary health. Eco Trek Tours is a unique social enterprise that focuses on: 'Connecting students with community environmental initiatives through interactive educational tours.' This is one of those 'great ideas' that come along and simply make sense.
